Ready Yourselves Youth Ranch

Ready Yourselves Youth Ranch (RYYR) is a faith-based horse rescue with a youth mentoring program free to kids 6-18 years old. RYYR is about hope, healing and the redemption of broken lives.  Our mission is to save horses from all kinds of situations and use them in a way that lets kids know that they are loved and their life has value. In the end, the result is that these broken, hurting children know there is hope. Hope for a life of purpose and a life full of true joy. 

The Barkley’s started RYYR in 2010 but its real impact started in 2015 after they moved the program to a 50-acre farm in New Sewickley Township. Then they partnered with other local ministries, the Beaver County Juvenile Services, and Children and Youth Services.

The ranch was born out of Micheline’s broken childhood and her desire to encourage kids coming from hard places. But as every year passes, it is even more apparent that the community needs this place where kids can come and “disconnect” and “decompress.” It's literally saving lives.
